Meet your host:

VICTORIA

A woman of many talents, Victoria hails from a long lineage of musicians and artists. Captivating audiences since the tender age of sixteen, Victoria has graced stages around the world singing in front of thousands of people.

Notable performances include singing alongside renowned musicians such as Stephanie Mills, Catherine Lara, Cheb Mami, Lonnie Plaxico, Sally Nyolo, Lââm or Tiken Jah Fakoly on TV shows, and during recording and live concerts, earning herself a spot at Warner Chappell Music Publishing as a singer-songwriter.

In 2008 Victoria released a jazz album with the legendary jazz musician Lonnie Plaxico and toured extensively for more than a decade in Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Europe with her jazz trio.

A true global citizen at heart, Victoria lived in ten different countries while being able to speak multiple languages. Currently residing in Phnom Penh, she provides independent vocal coaching to a select clientele who loves to sing.

HOW I CAME UP WITH Bliss?

A couple of years ago, I created the first Singing Retreats in Cambodia at "Le Relais de Chhlong." Inspired by its success, I envisioned creating a similar experience—one that would be more accessible to a wider audience and take place right in the heart of the city. BLISS — my Immersive Singing Workshop — was born!

An original concept at the crossroads between a retreat and a workshop, BLISS is designed to feel like a retreat while combining all the educational, fun, and interactive elements of a traditional workshop.

BLISS is more than just a workshop; it’s an EXPERIENCE that invites you to reconnect with your voice, your creativity, and your inner peace. In a relaxed, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment, you’ll explore the power of your voice, breath, and movement while engaging in meaningful, transformative exercises and group singing. The workshop provides a unique space for both beginners and more experienced singers to come together, learn, enjoy, and grow. Whether you're looking to build vocal confidence, experience the joy of group singing, or simply embrace the many benefits of singing, BLISS is designed to nurture, uplift, and inspire.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A Fantastic Weekend of Singing!

Join us for a transformative two-day vocal journey in a warm, welcoming environment, set in a serene, century-old property in the heart of Phnom Penh. Whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced singer, this original workshop offers the perfect opportunity to unwind, relax, and explore the power of your voice.

You'll be guided through breathwork, vocal expression, group harmonies, and intuitive singing in a supportive group setting. Alongside your vocal journey, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, make new connections with like-minded individuals, and if you’re in the mood, take a refreshing dip in the pool.

This immersive experience will leave you feeling recharged, connected, and inspired—ready to express yourself through the power of your voice, even if you've never sung before!

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

"The House of a King"

100  Years of Heritage

The house was first built by a French colonist, though the exact year remains unknown. The first recorded sale was in 1937 to the grandfather of the owner who later sold it to the current owner.

Hidden behind century-old trees, this colonial house has witnessed love, power, and intrigue worthy of a Hollywood film. It originally belonged to a royal advisor who often hosted a young prince. Deeply in love with a neighbor’s daughter, the prince would park his car discreetly in the driveway before slipping away to meet her. Years later, after becoming king, nostalgia drew him back, and in 1955, he purchased the house—a quiet tribute to his past.

As history unfolded, the house was transformed into a Vietnamese political office in 1979, then became the residence of a powerful official in 1988. Later, it was acquired by a foreign businessman who built his fortune in the garment and textile industry.

HOUSE B&W_edited_edited.jpg

Eventually, it returned to the family of its first owner, remarkably unchanged.

While the kitchen was remodeled—reducing the number of bedrooms from four to three—the house retains its original charm. The red and white terrace tiles, wooden frames, and century-old trees along the main gate stand as silent witnesses to a century of stories.

Even today, locals whisper of the love, power, and secrets that once passed through its doors.
